Slash your heating bills
Provide your property with low-cost heating and hot water throughout the day with an air or ground source heat pump
What Are Heat Pumps?
Heat pumps extract low-grade heat energy from the ground, the air, or a body of water and compress it into smaller amounts of high-level heat, which can be used to heat spaces and water.
They are an excellent solution for many homes, including those that are not on the gas grid and new builds. They can supply 100% of your property’s heating and hot water requirements and can function in conditions as low as minus 20ºC.
Heat Pumps are highly efficient heating systems, capable of operating at efficiencies of 300% - 400%, which can translate to a huge reduction in your home’s CO2 emissions. Being electrically powered, there is no need for fuel stores or fuel deliveries, and running costs are significantly reduced compared to oil, LPG and electric boilers.
About Our HEAT PUMPS
We install heat pumps from a variety of manufacturers, including Samsung, Hitachi, LG and Mitsubishi. The exact model and manufacturer that we use for each installation depends on a range of factors and we always design our systems to ensure that each pump is the correct size to keep your property warm on even the coldest winter nights.
We are currently in the process of installing heat pumps on a number of National Trust properties in the South West region, reducing their dependancy on fossil fuels and ensuring a greener future for these often historic sites.
What is Renewable HEat Incentive?
Homes and buildings which currently use conventional fossil fuels for heating, such as gas, oil or coal, will be able to claim the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) if they switch to renewable technologies. This could entitle you to annual payments of up to £1,200 over a period of 7 years. .
